The first rule in overcoming an addiction is admitting that you have one. “Hi everyone, my name is Lindsey and I am a Shopaholic.” However, shortly after reaching this step in recovery, I realized that I no longer wanted to be cured. I, personally, like my poor spending habits! I like choosing Fendi over food, and I especially enjoy waiting in long lines for the season’s hottest ticket. But aside from that, I am a fashion student. I am now in my junior year and majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management at Johnson & Wales University. Honestly, I was meant for the fashion industry and it was meant for me. Was that a little too over-dramatic? Maybe I was really meant to be on Broadway, but I digress. I created this blog through my fashion forecasting class and look foreword to writing all about what influences fashion and the purchases that consumers make. I’ll be blogging about it all, both industry trends in color and fabrication as well as street fashion. I will be posting new material periodically throughout the week. I love hearing about what you Fashionista's are wearing out your credit cards for.
